Discord and poem collection progress
This post was originally published on Blogger. It has been slightly modified for accessibility and updated information.
This year, I want to socialize more (virtually, of course) and work on a personal project. So, I joined Discord and started designing my upcoming poem collection.
Why I joined Discord?
Someone shared a short story about why they signed up for Discord. To be honest, this influenced me indirectly. I decided to create an account on Discord and join some servers—one made by a British comic artist and two for language learning. Since I joined the language learning servers, I got more motivated than before to learn French.
Upon joining Discord, I have (mostly) good experiences there. I can gain insights about certain topics from others, share stuff in their appropriate servers, and meet new users.
Progress for my poem collection
So far, I have done the first and second chapters for my upcoming poem collection. Of course, I will put more poems and create more drawings for the rest of the e-book. For now, here is a sneak peek for my future e-book:1

Plain-text version
Ghost Ships and Tights
Siquijor nights
All the nautical lights
Mirages in the dark
Got nowhere to park
On the ocean
No more devotion.
The e-book in question is The Surrealist from the University.↩
