Things that I already lost but unforgotten
This post was inspired by David Meissner's and Thomas Rigby's posts.
Sometimes, I remember a bunch of stuff that I kept at home. But then, I either gave them or threw them away for different reasons.
Even though these things are now gone, they still linger on my mind:
Istenong Filipino → This is a small textbook for Filipino shorthand (based on the Gregg system) by Fulcida A. Eligado and Loida A. Yacat. Unfortunately, I gave my copy away to one of my classmates at the university. Although I can possibly find another one at my local library, I wish that someone returned that book as soon as possible.
CDs with assorted playlists → Before I got exposed to music streaming, I used to play CDs with a bunch of playlists (which are represented as file folders). One of those discs even had Crazy Frog covers and less-known Eurodance songs. I could have backed up those CDs before the disc rot happened. But then, I threw those unplayable discs instead.
Toshiba Satellite laptop (black) → Even about a decade later, I cannot get over that dreaded breakdown! Although I forgot the laptop's exact model, I still remember cracking that device by accident. Too bad, I did not copy my files (especially my OneNote collections and pre-Krita artworks) to my USB drives. That laptop and its hard drive had to be decluttered, along with other gadgets and cords that no longer work.
