Career

I received an email for a job application! However, I did not get my administrative role yet. Good thing that I got added to the talent pool from an agency that has connections to the construction industry.

Due to current world events, I stopped looking for on-site opportunities in the Middle East. I will consider searching for more hybrid or remote roles elsewhere (specifically at an Australian or European client).

Personal projects

I made three batches of digital stickers for my Pokémon shrine! Although I could not finish all of them on Pokémon Day, I have made a lot of progress for this collection.

Although I still want to join art challenges and collabs, I will focus on these within the open web more than these on walled gardens. I am planning to draw someone's original character for their DTIYS on Bluesky. Also, I want to make quarterly illustrations for another artist's year-long art challenge soon.

I think that I should write more about my OCs soon. (Here goes my personal project backlog...)

Learning

Done with my data annotation course! I am still waiting for my certificate, though...

My next self-paced course for this year will be data analytics. Fortunately, I received some documents and videos from a friend (who paid for that online course last year).

Music

• Look Mum No Computer - Eins, Zwei, Drei (2026) - This campy and catchy electronic song was released just in time for Bandcamp Friday! Good thing that this song will represent the United Kingdom for this year's Eurovision (which is a rather controversial¹ event nowadays).
• Radio Garden - Just exploring some random stations around the world... I hope that I can discover and write about some hidden gems on the way.

Books

• The Count of Monte Cristo - I have read Chapter 14 and 15 (Volume 1). By the way, I tend to read this when I have trouble falling asleep or I get bored from my errands.

Movies

• Dumb and Dumber (1994) - Lloyd (Jim Carrey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels) drive on the way to Aspen, Colorado. However, they did not seem to be good enough on the road.

TV series

• The Office (US) and Friends - Ever since I ditched subscription-based streaming, I decided to continue these sitcoms outside of Netflix. I am still halfway throughout these entire shows, though.

Games

• Umamusume: Pretty Derby - More Carats and ten daily pulls for free?! I love these for the First Anniversary! I got Matikanetannhauser, Mejiro McQueen, and Mihono Bourbon! I also managed to collect and level up some Support Cards, though I feel like the latter is becoming more expensive than usual. Maybe a few occasional Career playthroughs and some Daily Races could solve that problem?
