Re: What is the oldest thing you own?
This is a response to Thomas Rigby's post about the list of old things in his lifetime.
Throughout my life, I have collected a fair share of assorted stuff (such as charms, fashion dolls, notebooks, and optical discs). While I have mostly accumulated them during my adulthood, I felt like they are missing the dainty nostalgia for my early years.
That is why I want to show the baptismal pack that I received from around 1999. Although it contains multiple things, it can be considered an old thing as a collective.
- Pair of white-laced clothes hangers with pink, white, and gray floral prints.
- Pair of bedroom sandals with the same aesthetics as the hangers.
- Small, baby pink bag with a rose decoration. It is packed with a white bib made of pineapple fiber, a tricolor braid (pink, yellow, and green), and a pair of white hair ties with decorative hearts and pearls.
Well, there are some things at home that are older than me (like LorelMa's1 casserole cookbook from 1968). But then, I decided to limit to my own lifetime instead.
