Personal realmlet overhaul
My personal realmlet just got renovated! Although it still keeps a similar theme and responsive design as the previous one, it now uses a single-column layout.

Before: A two-column layout with a navigational sidebar on the left and main content on the right.

After: A single-column layout with main content right after the header (logo and navigation buttons).
The overhaul for my handcrafted website was supposed to coincide with the transition to Jekyll. My realmlet could have had an SSG for an easy site management. But then, it would defeat the purpose of a hand-coded personal website. So, back to post-framework webweaving!
Ever since Nekoweb introduced server-side includes, my website already contains reusable elements (like headers, footers, and last modified dates) that can be updated efficiently. It may eventually introduce new dynamic layouts, especially for my art portfolio and photo galleries.
Revising my Digital Notebook
The visual layout for my Digital Notebook now resembles an actual notebook with a dotted page. No more touchscreen tablet aesthetics, though. That did not live up to its name, anyway...

Before: The home page for the Digital Notebook with the tablet-like theme.

After: The same page, except it now looks like a notebook page with the Home tab on top. (The arrows on the top-left and top-right edges were not present in this page yet.)
Aside from that, my Digital Notebook is now home to various notes about the indie web and archives from other realms. Most of my creative writing pieces from the same section have been transferred to Frosted Nibs instead.
Frosting my nibs
A new creative writing blog has been made to accommodate both old and new pieces. While it shares a similar theme as the Digital Notebook, it uses a plain white page instead of a dotted one. Unlike my main blog, Frosted Nibs does not collect any analytics.
Although all writings in my secondary blog are accessible to the public, they cannot be found on Bear Blog's Discover feed. They can be syndicated through RSS and Mastodon, though.
There will be more poetry and prose in that blog soon! For now, the archival process is still going strong.
Archiving and rearranging some stuff
Still searching for some ephemera to collect from other realms... Anyway, all Ko-fi posts are transferred to my Digital Notebook. Those from WriteFreely (specifically at dotart.blog) are coming up soon. They might be followed by my pixel avatar collection and some essential writings from Gaia Online. (So nervous yet so excited to come back there for a little while... Thank goodness, that virtual realm is still around!)
Certain parts have been rearranged for quicker access. Take my potpourri and update log, for example. Both of those pages are now placed near the home page instead of their initial sections (my profile and notebook archives, respectively).
My website has already embraced the new layout... Well, except the Public Library. It will take a while before the touch-ups are applied there. Sorry for the ongoing scuff!
